Crookston’s Marketplace is the beneficiary
A LulaRoe mobile shopping boutique will be set up in the parking lot of Wish Upon A Star Friday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the grand opening of Jen Huffman’s “Fashion Den.”
During the grand opening, Huffman will be hosting a fundraiser for Crookston’s Marketplace and a portion of every purchase will go to help the Marketplace’s endeavor to “bring the community together” each Thursday night this summer for fun, food, entertainment, and shopping.
Lupe’s Tasty Tacos food truck will be on-hand Friday and Saturday to sell tacos, brats, wraps, burritos, and taco in a bag, as well.
Huffman, who has been selling LulaRoe since 2016 and says her favorite piece is a “toss-up” between the “Carly” and “Sarah,” told the Times she will also have drawings for free black leggings and other LulaRoe items during Friday and Saturday’s events. She says her mobile boutique trailer was transformed over the winter and is now ready for shoppers to browse.
Huffman has secured a season pass for Crookston’s Marketplace and will be at the Downtown Square Thursdays with her “Fashion Den” throughout the summer, too. For more information on Crookston’s Marketplace, visit their Facebook page or call 289-3199.
