Free event will focus on STEM learning for the whole family

    The next Celebrate the Young Child event will be held on Thursday, April 19 in the Crookston High School commons and gymnasium. With a continued focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education (STEM), the Thursday event will be a “Family Festival” that will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

    Families with children ages birth to eight years old are invited to attend the event put on by the Celebrate the Young Child Collaborative and Crookston Early Childhood Summit to explore STEM learning through a variety of hands-on activities. Children will receive a free magnifying class and lab coat. The event will also feature a free meal and informational booths for the whole family.

    Tri-Valley Opportunity Council’s T.H.E. Bus will provide free transportation to and from the event. Call 281-0700 ahead of time to schedule a ride.
