This year’s goal is 80 hanging flower baskets

Although this winter is being particularly stubborn, it’s that time of year again, to decorate the Crookston community with beauty and color. The Crookston Chamber and Visitor’s Bureau is sponsoring the Adopt-A-Basket Program in Crookston for the tenth year.

The Adopt-A-Basket Campaign will begin April 16. The goal this year is 80 hanging flower baskets. The cost to adopt one is $65. this covers the costs of the plants, daily watering and other maintenance.

If you would like to adopt a basket, you may choose this opportunity to memorialize or honor a loved one. A list of sponsors and their memorials will be listed in the Crookston Daily Times and on KROX Radio. For another $10, you also have the option to purchase a small plaque to be mounted on the light pole with the names of the donor and their loved one.

To participate, contact the Crookston Chamber/CVB at 281-4320 or info@visitcrookston.com.
