University of Minnesota Crookston Chancellor Mary Holz-Clause and UMC Director of Admissions Michelle Christopherson are in South Korea this week recruiting students to study at UMC, whether it’s online or in-person and whether the students will be degree-seeking or studying English as a Second Language.
Holz-Clause and Christopherson are being led on their visits by Subok Kim, a Business Management alum from UMC.
Prior to the Hansei University visit, Holz-Clause, Christopherson and Kim visited Jurye Girls High School and Gudeok High School, in Busan and Suwon, South Korea.
UMC is working on an MoU with the high schools to have their students seek degrees at UMC, or study ESL.
“We’re creating many new relationships for recruitment to UMC,” Christopherson said.
After their stint in South Korea, Christopherson will move on to China for several more days of recruiting visits across the country.
