Students voting to see which teacher or staff member will wear a wig on Friday
As the Crookston High School 2018 Snowfest Week is kicked off there are a few more announcements, and one of them is kind of funny.
The student body will be voting for a staff member to wear a wig on Friday for the day. Tayler Christiansen (Spanish teacher), Katelyn Stegman (English teacher), Hunter Kopff (science teacher), Don Rasicot (school resource officer), and Eric Bubna (principal), will each have a jar in the commons during lunch where students, staff and parents are all encouraged to send money with their kids to vote for their favorite. Proceeds from the voting will go toward the student council, Mr. CHS Pageant and prom
Snowfest royalty for each class will be announced at the pep fest on Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the CHS gym. The winners will participate in a fun contest representing their class. The pep fest is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to come and support.
The Mr. CHS contestants Gunnar Roed, Lucas Andringa, Keaton Lindgren, Jacob Wagner, Zach Sanders, and Cade Salentine will be putting on a “rock and roll” themed show Sunday, February 11 at 2 p.m. with a $5 admission fee. Proceeds will assist in Student Council expenses and for the 2018 Prom. The emcee for Mr. CHS will be Travis Oliver.
