Crookston High School hosted the Subsection 31 Vocal Solo Contest on Wednesday, January 24. Seventy eight students participated in the contest representing eight different schools including: Climax-Shelley, Crookston, East Grand Forks, Fisher, Red Lake County Central, Red Lake Falls, Sacred Heart, and Warren Alvarado Oslo.

    Nine students from the Crookston High School Concert Choir participated in the contest with three receiving a single star, an Excellent rating, and six receiving a double star, a Superior rating.

    Zach Sanders was selected as Best of the Day in the Auditorium and Skylar Weiland was given Honorable Mention in the Band Room.
