Collision reported early Tuesday at #2 and #75 just outside of Crookston

    The Minnesota State Patrol Tuesday afternoon identified the East Grand Forks man killed in a collision with a grocery truck early that morning just outside of Crookston.

    Gregory Ronald Driscoll, 59, was killed just before 5 a.m., the State Patrol says, when he failed to yield while driving north in a 2009 Mercedes on the Highway 75 bypass. He collided with a 2016 Freightliner driven eastbound on U.S. Highway 2 by Kristopher L. Rittel, 53, of Grand Forks. Rittel was transported to RiverView Health in Crookston with non-life threatening injuries.
