She was the CEO of the Chamber and United Way from 2006-2011

    The United Way of Crookston Board of Directors announced today that Lori Wagner has been named the non-profit’s new Executive Director. Wagner has 11 years of non-profit experience, of which, six is with the United Way of Crookston where she increased the yearly goal all six years.

     “My heart has never left the United Way,” says Wagner. “It changed me as a person and this position deserves strong tenured leadership, experience and strategic vision,” she adds.

     From 2006-2011 Wagner was the CEO of the Crookston Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director of the United Way of Crookston. As the CEO, she recruited and retained chamber members, developed and implemented marketing and community relations initiatives, and facilitated Crookston’s Ox Cart Days. As Executive Director, she set goals and objectives for the United Way Annual Fundraiser and annual dinner, organized the United Way Chili Cook-off and worked with the United Way of America to adhere to membership standards.

     Following her position with the Crookston Chamber of Commerce and the United Way of Crookston, Wagner was the Foundation Director/District Trainer/Marketing Manager at the Villa St. Vincent/The SUMMIT Foundation in Crookston. In this position, she developed annual campaigns, memorial programs and major gift donors. She maintained all community relations and developed a signature event, the “Glow in the Dark Golf Tournament”, raising $13,000.
