The States Attorney's office in Devils Lake says the incident happened over Labor Day weekend.

An East Grand Forks assistant hockey coach has been arrested and is accused of gross sexual imposition in connection with an alleged incident in Ramsey County in eastern North Dakota.

Philip Jason Hartwig, 46, was arrested Friday at a business just outside of Grand Forks.

According to the court complaint, Hartwig "willfully engaged in sexual contact" or caused another to engage in sexual contact. The victim is listed as a female under the age of 15.

The complaint says Hartwig touched the breasts of the minor female multiple times and the female told him to stop while she attempted to push and kick him away.

Hartwig was coach of the EGF Green Wave boys’ junior varsity team in 2016-17 and is also the president of East Grand Forks Hockey.

The arrest warrant was issued in Ramsey County on Sept. 15.
