The PCSO reports that Kyle Martin Heintz, 26, is in custody at the Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston, facing charges of fleeing in a motor vehicle, DWI, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Authorities say Heintz also has outstanding warrants in Minnesota and North Dakota.

    According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, a Grand Forks man was arrested Tuesday evening near Fisher after a pursuit that began in Grand Forks.

Authorities say Heintz also has outstanding warrants in Minnesota and North Dakota.

    The incident began at 5:36 p.m. The pursuit began in Grand Forks, continued through East Grand Forks and into the country, where the PCSO took over and deputies deployed stop sticks and Heintz’s vehicle was stopped after a deputy used a PIT maneuver at the intersection of Polk County Roads 9 and 223 near Fisher.

    No one was hurt.
