A man accused in a Grand Forks convenience store shooting is in custody.

Police say a person was shot and wounded at the Valley Dairy about 3 p.m. Monday. KFGO reports the victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that don't appear to be life threatening.

Authorities say the 24-year suspect fled in a pickup truck before officers arrived at the store. Officers caught up with the man a short time later and arrested him.
