Winner would represent northwest Minnesota at 2018 Miss Minnesota Pageant
The Miss North Star Scholarship Pageant is currently seeking contestants to compete in the 2017 Miss North Star Pageant which will be held Sunday, September 24 in Middle River at 2 p.m.
Miss North Star would represent northwest Minnesota throughout her year-long reign as well as represent our “neck of the woods” in the 2018 Miss Minnesota Pageant.
If you’re interested in competing, you would need to be available for the entire weekend of September 23-24, 2017. Contestants must live within a 100 mile radius of Middle River.
The Miss North Star Pageant is a scholarship pageant, and all contestants are eligible to receive scholarship dollars to further their education. Contestants compete in interview, talent, swimsuit, evening gown and on-stage question divisions.
If crowned, a year as Miss North Star would go something like this… promote your platform (a cause or organization you believe strongly in), attend a variety of community events, perform your talent at various community functions, attend other area pageants as visiting royalty, participate in community parades and festivals, and prepare for and represent northwest Minnesota in the Miss Minnesota Pageant in June of 2018.
We are proud to say that the current Miss Minnesota, Brianna Drevlow represented Miss North Star in June where she was crowned Miss Minnesota.
The Miss North Star committee is dedicated to working with each and every contestant as they prepare for the pageant. The contestants practice thoroughly, improve, work hard, and have a whole lot of fun!
