Use alternate routes if you’re able to

    According to the Polk County Highway Department, the following Polk County roads will be under construction during the 2017 construction season.

    • Polk County Highway 18: Bituminous overlay and aggregate shoulders located from Highway 2, 6 miles west of Crookston, to Polk County Highway 17.

    • Polk County Highway 19: Grade widening, bituminous overlay, and aggregate shouldering located from Polk County Highway 20 to Highway 75 at Euclid.

    • Polk County Highway 20: Intersection realignment, bituminous overlay, and aggregate shouldering located at the intersection of Polk County Highway 20 and Polk County Highway 19, 10 miles east of East Grand Forks.

    • Polk County Highway 28: Stabilized aggregate base located from Highway 92 at Trail to Polk County Highway 2.

    • Polk County Highway 33: Stabilized aggregate base located from Red Lake County Line to Polk County Highway 6, 4 miles east of Oklee.

    • Polk County Highway 34: Grading, storm sewer, curb and gutter, bituminous overlay located in Erskine.

    • Polk County Highway 50: Bituminous Overlay and aggregate shoulders located from Highway 2, 11 miles east of Crookston to 1.5 miles north.

    • Polk County Highway 53: Intersection realignment, bituminous overlay, and aggregate shouldering located from Polk County Highway 11, 1 mile east of Gentilly to Polk County Highway 50.

    • Polk County Highway 54: Bituminous overlay and aggregate shoulders located from Polk County Highway 11, 1.5 miles east of Crookston to Polk County Highway 57.

    • Polk County Highway 71: Bituminous overlay and aggregate shoulders located from Highway 75 at UMC to Polk County Highway 11.

    • Polk County Highway 75: Stabilized aggregate base located from Polk County Highway 6 to Polk County Highway 28, 4 miles north of Trail.

    • Polk County Highway 240: Stabilized aggregate base located from Polk County Highway 33 to Polk County Highway 6, 3 miles NW of Trail.
