First 200 kids get chalk and bubbles
The Eat United Summer Kick-Off will take place on Monday, June 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Lion's Shelter at Highland Park Complex.
It is a program sponsored by the Polk County Public Health Work-N-Well Committee for free lunch for all youth 0-18 years, and $4 meals for adults age 19 and older. Free rides will be provided by T.H.E. Bus, and you can look for the pick-up and drop-off signs in your neighborhood or call 281-0700 for information about where it stops.
The first 200 kids to arrive Monday will receive free chalk and bubbles to take home. This event is also sponsored by Polk County Public Health, United Way of Crookston, Crookston Public Schools, and the Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, Inc.
