Sessions were held in May at the Cobblestone

The Adaptive Leadership Learning Series recently wrapped up after four sessions each week in May at the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites.

The sessions were accompanied by the book “Leading at the Edge” as participants from various community businesses were guided through the critical aspects of leadership – people and change – and encouraged, empowered, and educated on the principles and successful adaptive leadership by Ernest Shackelton during the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition of 1914.

The Villa St. Vincent, RiverView Health, Andy Oman State Farm, Crookston Eye Clinic, American Federal Bank, LeBlanc Realty, Minnesota Housing, Thrivent Financial and the Chamber Board of Directors all took part in this new educational offering for Chamber members and businesses put on the Chamber Growth & Development Committee.

Tim Denney with Level 5 Services, a new training and facilitation company, led the sessions. Denney also works at Northwestern Mental Health Center in Crookston as the training director.

Wonderful Life Foods catered the sessions.
