The Pirates had a good showing at State Envirothon held at Ironwood Springs Ranch in Stewartville, Minnesota on Monday.

The Crookston team came in third place out of 27 teams with a score of 114.50, Advisor Wes Hanson reports.

First place was Hopkins with 121.17 and second was Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton with 115.33 points.

“I’m really proud of our team and all the hard work and extra time they put in,” Hanson says. “It's been a privilege working with this well-deserving group of Crookston High School kids. This is the highest placing Envirothon team I've worked with and possibly the best finish in Crookston history.”
