Ten CHS eighth graders will compete at Crookston High School on Thursday, Jan. 12 in the 29th National Geographic Bee. The event begins at noon in the CHS auditorium, and the public is invited.

     Ten CHS eighth graders will compete at Crookston High School on Thursday, Jan. 12 in the 29th National Geographic Bee. The event begins at noon in the CHS auditorium, and the public is invited.

    Competitors include Emma Boll, Emma Borowicz, Dominick Broussard, Carter Bruggeman, Emily Funk, Gabe Monteith, Victoria Proulx, Nekeisha Watkins, Ella Weber, and Anke Wiersma.

    The champion will advance to the next level, a written examination to determine state competitors. The top 100 scorers from Minnesota will participate in the State Bee at St. Cloud State University on March 31.
