Sister Jeannine Spain, who celebrated 60 years of monastic profession, served as a nurse in hospitals sponsored by the Sisters of Saint Benedict and for several years with the Community Action Council of South Texas in Rio Grande City.

Sister Kathleen McGeary celebrated 50 years of monastic profession. She has served as a teacher in Minnesota schools and in south Texas, as subprioress of the Benedictine Sisters, Personnel Director, Director of Vocations and Director of the Live-In Volunteer Program all at Mount Saint Benedict. She also spent 13 years of full-time parish ministry in the Crookston and Fargo Dioceses and is currently a pastoral associate at Holy Rosary Parish in Detroit Lakes, MN.

The sisters renewed their monastic profession in the presence of Sister Lenore Paschke, prioress, and the Sisters of Saint Benedict at a Eucharistic liturgy celebrated by Bishop Michael Hoeppner.
