RiverView Health will hold its 2012 Annual Meeting on Monday, Jan. 30 in Bede Ballroom at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. The event will begin with social time at 6 p.m. and dinner at 6:30. The business meeting and program will follow. Master of ceremonies for this year’s event is RiverView board member Andrew Svec.
Ross Matlack, president and CEO of RiverView Health, will provide the keynote address. Matlack’s presentation will highlight the progress RiverView Health has made in 2011 and touch on areas of emphasis for 2012.
RiverView Healthcare Association is a locally incorporated, non-profit association and all association members are eligible for the governing board, can elect governing board members, and may attend the annual meeting. Anyone within RiverView’s service area may become an association member for a fee of $3 for three annual meetings.
This year’s annual meeting meal will feature an Italian buffet, which includes a gluten-free option. Banquet tickets are $18 per person. The business portion of the meeting will include the election of governing board members, the presentation of the 2011 audited financial statement, and reports from the RiverView Health Foundation and Auxiliary.
RiverView’s annual “Reaching Out to Serve” award will also be presented during the Annual Meeting. The Reaching Out to Serve award is given to a person, group or program that demonstrates innovativeness, voluntary or self-initiated efforts and works to improve the access, quality or cost effectiveness of healthcare. The Alta Hermodson Heart and Soul award, selected and presented by the RiverView Health Auxiliary to a volunteer showing the greatest dedication to the Auxiliary’s mission, will also be presented during the meeting.
