U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar and U.S. Rep. Collin Peterson will host a farm meeting in Crookston on Thursday, Sept. 2 to address agriculture issues and plans for the next Farm Bill.
The meeting will be held at the University of Minnesota, Crookston campus, in Youngquist Auditorium. It will begin at 9:30 a.m..
Peterson is chairman of the U.S. House Agriculture Committee, and Klobuchar serves on the Senate Agriculture Committee. Both will be involved in crafting the 2012 Farm Bill.
The public is welcome.
