Crookston freshman Isaac Loegering is the North Dakota State Boys' Swimming Champion in the 50 freestyle. His time of 22.14 was one-tenth of a second faster than Joe Burns, a senior from Minot.
Loegering also placed fourth in the 100 freestyle with a time of 49.33.
Brother Luke Loegering, a junior, finished 13th in the 100 backstroke. He also competed in the 100 freestyle but didn't make it out of the preliminaries.
Luke Loegering's 200 medley relay team finished ninth.
Isaac Loegering competed in the 200 and 400 freestyle relay. The 200 freestyle relay team was disqualified while the 400 freestyle relay team finished sixth.
Isaac Loegering was named to the first team All-State.
