The Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks baseball team recently announced the signing of infielder Paul Krebs, a University of Minnesota, Crookston alum.

Krebs, 23, completed his college career last spring at the University of Minnesota-Crookston.  In 2009, he batted .305 with four doubles, two triples, three home runs, 27 RBIs and 34 runs scored in 48 games for the Golden Eagles.  In 2008, Krebs batted .267 with seven doubles, one triple, three home runs, 11 RBIs and 25 runs scored in 35 games.

He led the 2009 Golden Eagles with 34 runs and seven stolen bases.

The Redhawks won the Northern League Championship last season for the franchise’s fourth league championship.
