  • While it is an honor to be nominated by your department peers for the Employee of the Month (EOM) award, it is also extremely rewarding to be nominated by a department other than your own. That is the story behind RiverView’s August EOM, Jodi Enlow.
Jodi received four nominations from the Laboratory staff with the words “exceptional’’, “above and beyond’’ and “model employee’’ sprinkled throughout their praises.
A RiverView employee for the past 11 years, Jodi has spent her RiverView career in the Environmental Services Department as an aide.
“I love working here,’’ she shared. “It’s a comfortable place to work. It’s a place that makes you feel good about yourself.’’
Jodi has been happy to call Crookston home her entire life. She has been married for 12 years to Will Enlow, who owns Enlow Computing in Crookston. Her oldest daughter, Megan, 22, lives in Fargo, while daughter Anna, 12, and son Casey, 9, live at home. Jodi is the daughter of LeRoy and Joni Clemenson and Cindy and Dennis LaFleur, all of Crookston.
Of the EOM honor, she said she was “so surprised, and is still in shock’’. She thanks the Laboratory staff for thinking of her and for their kind words.
Below is a snippet of the nominations that came in for Jodi; this one from Kathy Lessard:
“There is never a time when Jodi doesn't have a smile on her face. She is always willing to do that ‘little bit’ more than is required of her. We know in the Lab that all we have to do is just let her know and she will be right here to take care of any cleaning problem we may have. Jodi sees things that need attending to before we see them. Jodi is very deserving of this award.’’
Jodi was also praised by Curtis Hamre, Director of RiverView Recovery Center and co-leader of the Rewards and Recognition Team.
Hamre stated: “Jodi has been a dedicated team player for RiverView, who we have counted on to help maintain a clean and professional looking facility. Jodi is the ‘can do’ person when it comes to taking on a job and getting it done. Jodi keeps a positive attitude and a smile when she is at work and continues to be respectful to our clients and staff. After the storm and mess at our facility, I saw Jodi in the hallway of RiverView. She was her regular positive, smiling self. I told her about the mess from the storm at our RiverView Recovery facility. She had not seen the problems yet. However, just like Jodi, she was ready to jump right in and get started cleaning up the mess. I appreciate Jodi and always look forward to seeing her at our facility.’’
