  • Voters in Bottineau have narrowly rejected a $13 million bond measure to fund a proposed school expansion.
The measure garnered 58 percent support in Tuesday's election, but 60 percent approval was needed.
The proposed expansion would have put all students in grades K-12 under one roof. Students in preschool through second grade currently attend classes in a separate building.
Bottineau voters last November rejected a $19 million bond issue that would have paid for a new elementary school.
