The oil patch town of Killdeer is celebrating its 100th birthday this week.

The oil patch town of Killdeer is celebrating its 100th birthday this week.

The Bismarck Tribune reports a parade will be held on Friday afternoon and a rodeo will be held Thursday and Friday nights. Street dances and concerts will be held on Thursday and Friday night.

Friday afternoon will also feature a car show and a barbeque.

Saturday will see a color 5K walk in the morning and a barbeque in the evening.

Centennial party planner Dawn Marquardt says some of the town's streets will be closed as needed.
