    Monday, June 16 at 6 p.m. Crookston's Sons Of Norway held their membership dinner with 27 attending. Thanks to all those who helped.   

    A student from Crookston speech team Charles Brantner gave speech entitled "My Three Wishes". Then Gary Olson, a Sons Of Norway financial advisor spoke on the benefits of becoming a member. Sons of Norway has been alive for over 110 years. We received a silver Award at the state convention in Duluth which lodge president Sue LaPlante attended.   

    Upcoming Lodge events: potluck picnic at the Golden Link on July 21. A special outdoor theater event at UMC on July 25th and 26th will be a play, "Peer Gynt" by Hendrick Ibsen includes 6 professional actors and local talent.
