  •     Hugo’s was once again a major sponsor of the RiverView Health Foundation’s Annual Golf Classic held June 9 at Minakwa Golf Course in Crookston.
The 10th Annual Foundation Golf Classic profits will be used toward the purchase of an Intensive Care and Medical Surgical Inpatient Vital Monitoring System.
The vital monitoring system project will replace and upgrade existing equipment to provide a fail-safe system of immediate monitoring technologies and delivery of vital alerts to appropriate staff, and will also enable immediate information sharing among vital electronic medical record capabilities
Vital sign monitors measure blood pressure as well as report oxygen saturation levels and temperature. They can be used to continually measure a single patient’s vital signs or moved from patient to patient for spot checks.
“The Foundation thanks Hugo’s for its continued support of RiverView Health,’’ said Foundation Director Kent Bruun. “Hugo’s has been a wonderful source of support toward medical equipment and service enhancements at RiverView that create a healthier community and serve the greatest societal impact.’’
For more information on the vital monitoring system project or any other Foundation program, contact Bruun at 281-9249 or email him at kbruun@riverviewhealth.org.
