  • Letter to the Editor: Property north of Crystal is perfect for an RV park, for multiple reasons

  • With all the hype of the R.V. park focusing on Castle Park, there would be one simple solution to the whole issue: Have the developer purchase the, I believe it is or was, the Kreutzberg property directly north of American Crystal Sugar Company and directly west of the Northwest Regional Corrections Center.

This piece of land would be perfect. It overlooks the Red Lake River. It has nice access from Highways 2 and 75 and the Ampride gas station is also there. There is plenty of security and the infrastructure is there for water, sewer, gas and electricity.
Any American Crystal Sugar workers could walk to work and there is a taxi service right there.
Also, this would be the ideal spot, with plenty of room to pour concrete slabs and plant trees. This way, they would not have to cut down all the trees like they would have at Castle Park.
