Selzler hit 62 of the 75 targets, two better than the runner-up.
Kaitlin Selzler took first place in the novice female division at the Class A Minnesota State High School Clay Target League championships last Friday in Alexandria, Minn. Selzler hit 62 of the 75 targets, two better than the runner-up.
Selzler's Pirate novice team finished sixth place at the championships. Members of the
team include: Wyatt Luckow, Cameron Niemela, Caden Bruley, Dylan Haller, Mason LaPlante, Casey Tiedemann, Tim Cymbaluk, Dillon Owens, Mercedes Haglund, Ariel LaPlante
and Brooke Gornowicz.
Members of the Pirate junior varsity team, which also competed, include: Thomas Cymbaluk, Jade Selzler, Nicholas Haugen, Cole Tiedemann and Macy Larson.
Members of the Pirate varsity team, which competed too, include: Andy Gjerswold, Noah Metzger, Quentyn Haglund, Preston Desrosier and Jacob Owens.
