For the purposes of determining attendance, Melbye encourages people to register online in advance and pay fee

Plans for the Crookston All-School Reunion are well on their way with a schedule of events now being available for Thursday, June 26 through Sunday, June 29.

Reunion Committee member Wayne Melbye says, "It's getting close and it's going to be a fun time. We hope that people will register on the website or mail a check to our post office box so we can get an idea of how many will attend."

Need a place to stay? Crookston hotels have reserved blocked rooms for the weekend as well as UMC dorm rooms.

"We'll have buses running to and from the college, hotels and the Town Square each day for folks to ride," said Melbye. "We want to keep everyone safe and mobile without them having to worry about parking."

Former Crookston High School Band Director Dave Bina also has plans for current band members and alumni who would like to play in the opening ceremonies on Friday, June 27.

"We're looking for current band members or alumni or even anyone in the community who would like to play to meet us at the Town Square at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, June 27 to practice and then play," said Bina.

To contact Bina about playing the opening ceremony, call 289-4041 or email him at dbina10@msn.com.
