Central Park was flooded out Friday after the river rose to 21.25 feet

Olivia Davidson and her dog Saturday morning check out Central Park, which was inundated by the Red Lake River on Friday, mostly due to jammed ice. Largely due to ice-related issues, the river rose to 21.25 feet later on Friday, but once the ice gave way it dropped in rapid fashion. Monday morning it was approaching a depth of 12 feet, and National Weather Service hydrologists expect the river level to continue to steadily drop.
