  • A man accused of human trafficking in Minot has pleaded not guilty to the felony charge.
The Minot Daily News reports that an arrest warrant was issued in May 2013 for 32-year-old Loc Tran. He was arrested in Denver in late January and brought back to North Dakota to face the charge that carries a maximum punishment of 20 years in prison.
Tran and Trina Nguyen (wihn) are accused of running The Mann's Club, a massage parlor in Minot that prostituted women who couldn't speak English and lived on the upper floor of the business. Nguyen earlier pleaded not guilty. A trial date has not been set for either suspect.
