    Two weekends ago we played Bemidji and EGF. The girls played awesome against Bemidji and ended up winning 6-4. Scoring was C.J. Lanctot, Rylee Solheim, Brynne Folden (2) and MaKenna Aure (2). The next day we played EGF and lost 3-1, which is an improvement from the first time we played and lost 7-1. Lone goal going to MaKenna Aure.
    The past weekend we played Detroit Lakes and Grand Forks Angels. We ended up beating DL and GF Angels both by a score of 10-2. Scoring for the DL game going to: Makenna Aure (2), C.J. Lanctot (2), Rylee Solheim (4), Brynne Folden (2).
    Scoring in the GF Angels game were: MaKenna Aure (4), Brynne Folden (4), and C.J. lanctot (2).
    Goalies, Lila Lanctot and Cassidy Halvorson alternate games, and have both been showing an improvement with each game.
     
    Squirts
    It was a very successful weekend for the Squirts two weeks ago. Their first game was on Saturday at the Gambucci Arena in Grand Forks against the GF Gunners where they won 11-4. Noah Dragseth was in the net and scoring was Jack Doda with 3 goals, Kaleb Thingelstad with 5 goals and 2 assists, Alex Longoria with 2 goals and 5 assists, Samuel Stewart with 1 assist and Noah Kiel with 1 goal. Their second game was Sunday at the Purpur Arena in Grand Forks against the GF Warriors, which they also won 3-2. Carter Nelson was in the net with 25 saves and scoring Kaleb Thingelstad with 1 goal and 1 assist, Jack Doda with 1 goal and 1 assist and Alex Longoria with 1 goal.
    The Squirt team had three games this past weekend. The first game was on Friday against Detroit Lakes which was a 7-2 loss, scoring was Noah Kiel 1 goal and Jack Doda 1 goal and 1 assist. The second game was on Saturday against West Fargo with a loss of 12-0. The third game was on Sunday in Thief River Falls, which was a loss of 9-6, scoring for Crookston was Jack Doda 3 goals and 1 assist, Zach Johnson 1 goal, Noah Kiel 1 goal and 1 assist, Kaleb Thingelstad 1 goal and Gavin Anderson 1 assist.
     
    PeeWee B
    This past weekend the Crookston PeeWee B team traveled to Hibbing, Minn. to participate in the Chet Tomassoni PeeWee B Tournament.
    On Friday, December 27, Crookston PWB vs. Lakeville South, final score was a 7-1 loss. Scoring our only goal was Lukas Meier, assisted by Mason LaPlante.
    On Saturday, December 28, Crookston PWB vs. Denfeld, final score was a 5-2 win. Scoring in the second period, Lukas Meier assisted by Peyton Swanson and Jade Selzler, Killian Kuchan assisted by Casey Tiedemann and Catherine Tiedemann, Mason LaPlante unassisted. Scoring in the third period, Mason LaPlante assisted by Peyton Swanson and Mason LaPlante unassisted.
    Page 2 of 2 - Later that evening, Crookston PWB vs. Eveleth-Gilbert/Mesabi East, final score was a 5-1 loss. Scoring our only goal was Mason LaPlante unassisted. Wyatt Erickson had 22 saves.
    On Sunday, December 29, Crookston PWB vs. Denfeld, final score was a 5-4 loss. Stats were not given to our coaches for this game.
    The kids worked hard and had a great time this past weekend. Wyatt Erickson continues to play very well and is an asset to the team.
     
    PeeWee A
    At the Bemidji tournament, December 28, lost 6-0 to Virgina, ranked No. 4. Jack Ricord had 24 saves. Also on Dec. 28, Crookston lost 5-4 to St. Cloud. Ben Andringa had two goals and two assists, while Eric Delorme and Brock Heppner also scored goals. Leighton Salentine had one assist.
    On Dec. 29, Crookston lost 5-3 to the Grand Forks Seawolves and beat Marquette, Michigan 5-3.
    On Dec. 30, in the championship of the Headwaters division, Crookston defeated Bemidji 7-4. Joey Doda had a hat trick and one assist. Leighton Salentine, Trey Christopherson, Ben Andringa and Logan Wardner each had one goal. Andringa and Wardner each had two assists, while Jack Ricord recorded 27 saves.
     
    Bantam B
    On December 19 at Bemidji, Crookston lost 7-0. On December 21 at Fargo Freeze, Crookston won 7-6 in overtime. This was a very exciting back and forth game with several lead changes from beginning to end and never more than a one goal difference throughout the game!
    Scoring: Trace Conati from Alex Dahl; Tanner Reinhart shorthanded, unassisted; Trace Conati from Keaton Lindgren; Zach Cameron assisted by Keaton Lindgren and Logan Prudhomme; Logan Prudhomme with assists from Zach Cameron and Tanner Reinhart; Tanner Reinhart from Logan Prudhomme; and the overtime goal from Zach Cameron assisted by Trace Conati. There were several great saves from Cade Salentine to keep us in the game.
    On December 28, Crookston lost to the Grand Forks Spartans 3-2 with goals from Keaton Lindgren and Zach Cameron. Trace Conati had one assist. The game was close all the way to the very end. We were outshot during the game but Cade Salentine continues to keep us in the games with his great goaltending! It was nice to see Ethan Stroot back on the ice after his broken arm from our second game into the season!
     
    Bantam A
    The Bantam A's have had a rough couple of weeks losing games to the Fargo Angels, Roseau, Bemidji and East Grand Forks. They will be traveling to Grafton on Thursday and will host Virginia on Saturday.
