Nominees for ExCEL, Triple 'A' Award named, Students of the Month honored

Fisher High School has nominated two juniors and two seniors to represent their school for the following awards:

• Carlie Scheer, daughter of Craig and Tanya Scheer, and Nick Donarski, son of Dan and DeAnn Donarski, have been nominated as juniors for the MSHSL ExCEL award. ExCEL, Excellence in Community, Education and Leadership, is a unique recognition program designed exclusively for Minnesota high school juniors who are active in school activities, who show Leadership qualities, and who volunteer in their communities.

Every member school of the League is invited to nominate one girl and one boy for the ExCEL Award. Nominees must: be a junior in high school; make satisfactory progress toward graduation; participate in a MSHSL fine arts and/or athletic activity; hold a leadership position(s) in their school; and work voluntarily in their community.

• Anna Love, daughter of Brian and Marla Love, and Blake Sorenson, son of Brian and Cathy Sorenson, have been nominated for the MSHSL Triple "A" Award. Established in 1988, the Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award (Triple "A" Award) is sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League. The award goes to high school seniors who have a "B" or better grade point average and who participate in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities.

In addition, the Fisher School announces its Students of the Month for November, and they are Sophie Love, daughter of Brian and Marla Love; Seth Wagner, son of Joel and Diane Wagner; and, Adam McDonald, son of John and Nancy McDonald.
