  • Fargo police are investigating a pair of convenience store robberies in the city.
Fargo police Lt. Joel Vettel tells the Forum that a Cenex Zip Trip on 23rd Ave. South was robbed at gunpoint at about 4 a.m. Friday, with the suspect getting away with a small amount of money.
Vettel says a man entered the business wearing a ski mask and displayed a handgun before leaving the store and heading south.
A Thursday morning robbery happened around 4 a.m. at a Stop-N-Go store on University Drive.
No one was hurt in either incident.
Vettel says although there are similarities between the two cases, police do not know for sure if they are related.
