  • Times Student Staff Writer Torrie Greer roamed the halls of Crookston High School this week looking for students' views on which holiday, Thanksgiving or Christmas, they prefer, and why:
    • Erica Allrich: Thanksgiving, because my birthday is in the same week!
    • Brianna Visness: Thanksgiving, because you get to eat a lot of food!
    • Bethany Newquist: Thanksgiving, because there are so many traditions to back up with it. You get that certain feeling when you're at grandma's house, you know? It's a good feeling to be able to hang out with your family during the holidays.
    • Tristan Brown: It depends on the year. Some years I look forward to Thanksgiving, some years to Christmas...and in different ways, too. With Thanksgiving you have fun food and the gathering of family, and at Christmas you have that fun warm feeling, people gathering and Christmas specials on TV and the catchy music.
