CPD, PCSO, MSP joining forces

For those of you who think it's fine and dandy to text while behind the wheel, it's time to take your eyes away from the electronic touch-screen or keypad and look out for the Minnesota State Patrol, Crookston Police Department and the Polk County Sheriffs Office.

During the first week in December, these respective law enforcement agencies will be working in a joint effort to enforce distracted driving violations. The trio of agencies will be focusing on texting while driving, as well as other actions that keep the drivers' eyes from the road.

This enforcement effort is aimed at keeping our roads and community safe during this holiday season.
