Ashlee Humble held a scoring average of 96.07 to place 24th in the All-South Suburban Conference.
The University of Minnesota Crookston women’s golf program announced the addition of Ashlee Humble (Rosemount, Minn.) to the team beginning during the fall of 2014. Humble signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her career on the collegiate level with the Golden Eagles.
All signees are contingent upon admission to UMC and compliance with NCAA rules, including certification by the NCAA Eligibility Center. Everyone released has signed their National Letter of Intent prior to the release of information.
Humble was an All-South Suburban Conference Honorable Mention selection while competing at Rosemount H.S. Humble held a scoring average of 96.07 to place 24th in the All-South Suburban Conference. Her low round in the conference tournament was 90. Humble led her team to a sixth place finish in the South Suburban Conference. Humble shot a 91 and a 94 at the Section 3AAA tournament. She shot a 92 on the Minnesota PGA Junior Tour last summer at Shoreland Country Club.
She is the daughter of Anne and Jeff Humble. She was born Dec. 9, 1995.
“I am so excited to have Ashlee join the Women’s Golf team next Fall,” said UMC head women’s golf coach Nate Mahlen. “Not only will she have the opportunity to be an immediate impact for our program but I believe she will continue to get better throughout her career here at UMC. Ashlee is a great addition not only to our program but as a student here at UMC!”
Humble will join an always improving UMC women’s golf squad who has been more competitive in recent seasons within the NSIC. The Golden Eagles graduate seniors Jacy Christenson and Kelly Gustofson but will return junior Mary Mikutowski, sophomores Rikki Roscoe and Katie Sheetz and freshman Baillee Hauser.
