Event at Crookston Inn is the Chamber’s lone fundraiser of the year
The Crookston Chamber will be hosting the "Rockin’ 50s" Community Celebration and Auction on Friday, Nov. 22, at the Crookston Inn & Convention Center. Guests will be treated to a meal, from the Crookston Inn & Convention Center, beer and wine tasting, a photo booth with Joyful Heart Photography, and raffles, games, silent auctions and live auctions. Following the meal, dance the night away to Tommy Helgeson.
The Crookston Chamber and Visitor's Bureau is here to serve our community. Throughout the year the Chamber offers services and activities that are designed to help promote Crookston and its businesses. The Chamber of Commerce is not part of the city government, your tax dollars do not pay for anything that is done through the Chamber. Along with the membership fee, the Chamber’s one and only fundraiser, the Annual Chamber Celebration and Auction is used to provide funding throughout the year for the various programs and activities done through the Crookston Chamber of Commerce. This fundraiser helps to cover some of the costs of things like: Ambassadors, Beautification Projects around town, Block Parties, Career Day, Customer Appreciation Day, Educators Luncheon, Gardening Day, Home Show, Leadership Crookston, Sugarbeet Scramble, UMC Welcome Back Picnic, Water Wars, The Weekend Happenings, and the Monthly Newsletter, as well help us offer two scholarships.
Tickets for the Rockin’ 50s Chamber Celebration are $35 and can be purchased at the Crookston Chamber office, Four Seasons Clothing, Montague’s Flower Shop, Rejuv Salon and Spa, and Willow and Ivy. The beer and wine tasting will begin at 6 p.m. and the meal will be served at 6:45 p.m.
