The North Dakota Supreme Court is hearing arguments in four cases at the University of North Dakota law school.

The justices were scheduled to be in Grand Forks on Tuesday and Wednesday to hear the actual cases and also final arguments in the law school's Moot Court competition. The justices also were lecturing in law school classes.

One of the appeals the court was scheduled to hear is that of Omar Mohamed Kalmio, a Somali national who was sentenced to life in prison for killing the mother of his child and three other people in Minot in January 2011.
