Saturday afternoon accident brings a major law enforcement, emergency response.

A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and Highway 75 took place Saturday, Nov. 2, and resulted in injuries to one of the drivers.

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the call at 12:30 p.m., along with Crookston Police and firefighters, Polk County deputies and Crookston Area Ambulance Service personnel. According to the MSP, a Dodge Ram driven by Randy Goosen, 53, of Fisher westbound on U.S. Highway 2, and a Chevrolet Impala driven by Rosetta Larochelle, 65, of Crookston was northbound on Highway 75, when they collided. Larochelle was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Goosen's injuries appeared to be minor, as he was seen walking around.
