Driver, from
Fertile, is extricated from her vehicle

    A woman from Fertile was taken by ambulance to RiverView Hospital in Crookston late Wednesday afternoon after the pickup she was driving on Polk County Highway 9 near Highway 75 rear-ended a sugar beet truck.   

    The Polk County Sheriff’s Office states that the accident was reported at 4:03 p.m. Wednesday. According to the PCSO report, Kimberly Vaughan, 49, of Fertile, had to be extricated from her vehicle. Kindra Hoffman, 24, the driver of the sugar beet truck, was not hurt.   

    The PCSO is investigating the accident.
