  • After 25 years with the CPD, about half of that time as chief, Monday was Crookston Police Chief Tim Motherway’s last day on the job, before retiring to take a position as regional coordinator of the National Child Safety Council.
    Motherway was the guest of honor at a reception Monday afternoon in the city hall council chambers.
    Paul Biermaier, who was patrol sergeant at the CPD before being hired as chief, officially takes the CPD reins today, Tuesday.
