Week is full of activities, culminating with football game and dance.

    Homecoming Week is coming to Crookston High School, and the school spirit is nearly palpable! Student council has been planning and working hard on homecoming festivities, which will take place next week, starting on Monday, Sept. 30.  

    The Homecoming Court, after the school-wide vote for candidates, is as follows:
    •    Blake Bergeron
    •    Brandon Conklin
    •    Brady Heppner
    •    Michael Hefta
    •    Zack Sanders
    •    Taylor Reynolds
    •    Whitney Schear
    •    Amber Trostad
    •    Mariah Frisk
    •    Emma Wilder

    Coronation will take place on Monday at 10 a.m. in the auditorium. The Homecoming Court will be announced individually, concluding with the crowning of the 2014 Homecoming King and Queen.

    Spirit dress up days will take place at the school; a different themed day will occur each day, Monday- Friday. They are:    
    •    Monday: Mix Match Day
    •    Tuesday: Beach Day
    •    Wednesday: Favorite Super Hero Day
    •    Thursday: Color War
    •    Friday: Pirate Pride

    Students are encouraged to participate in dress up days as well as other homecoming festivities.

    The Crookston Pirates will play Pequot Lake Patriots at Ed Widseth Field in the homecoming football game on Friday, October 4, with kickoff at 6 p.m. Following the game will be the homecoming dance, which will begin at 9 p.m. and conclude at midnight at the high school.
