Proceeds will help fund a variety of projects.
RiverView Health Auxiliary's fourth annual kickball fundraiser tournament Sept. 21 at Highland Complex raised over $2,000, which will go toward the Auxiliary’s current fundraising projects that include 400 baseline ImPACT concussion tests for RiverView Rehab, gross motor toys for the East Grand Forks Clinic’s Occupational and Speech Therapy Departments, an adaptive tricycle for pediatric rehab patients, therapeutic listening equipment for pediatric occupational therapy patients, 5 lift chairs for the inpatient unit, a flat screen television for ER, funding for the Reach Out and Read program, and a lactation room face lift.
The Studio 108 Marti Newquist/RiverView Care Center team, led by captain Shana Lanctot won the tournament. Second place went to RiverView Health, which was captained by Chris Bruggeman.
“I am overwhelmed by the success of this event,” said Auxiliary Coordinator Kari Moe.
