A 78-year-old man missing since Sunday was found early Monday in the woods near his farm north of Bemidji, officials said.
Thomas Vincent, 78, was reported missing by family members at about 4 p.m. Sunday when he left home for a walk, according to the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office. His family was searching for him all evening, and officials released a CodeRED alert for Vincent at 11:06 p.m., with authorities asking for the public's help in locating Vincent.
Vincent had become disoriented and was found by deputies wandering near the family farm at about 3 a.m. Monday, the sheriff's office said. The deputies used their newest K-9 deputy, "Jessie," to help with the search. The U.S. Border Patrol also assisted on the scene, officials said.
