A Bemidji woman faces a charge of criminal vehicular homicide after her involvement in a Sunday morning crash that killed a passenger on a motorcycle.

A Bemidji woman faces a charge of criminal vehicular homicide after her involvement in a Sunday morning crash that killed a passenger on a motorcycle.

Victoria Whitefeather was travelling south on Hubbard County Road 36 when she crossed the center line and struck a motorcycle driven by Robert Childs, of Proctor, according to a press release from the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office. Childs' passenger, 51-year-old Tracy Childs, was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale where she was pronounced dead as a result of injuries from the collision.

The crash occurred just before 10 a.m. Sunday, police said. Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash, according to the release.
