Authorities say a man driving a box truck veered off a Fargo street and struck a fence and electrical pole before running over the top of four vehicles.
The accident happened about 9 a.m. Monday on Main Avenue in the western part of the city.
Police say a man who was sitting in a vehicle during a break from his job at Fargo Tank Co. was able to climb out through the vehicle's sun roof. He and the driver of the Moorhead Electric Inc. truck were transported to the hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Eight parked cars were either wrecked or destroyed in the accident.
The crash forced police to reroute traffic until a power line could be repaired.
The accident remains under investigation.
