Former Fargo broadcaster Ed Schultz is moving back to weekdays on MSNBC.
The network announced Monday the "Ed Show" is slotted for 4 p.m. Central time, starting Aug. 26.
It has been featured late in the afternoons on Saturdays and Sundays since April. Before that he was on prime time at 7 p.m. At the time, Schultz says it was his idea to move his show.
Schultz got his start as a sports broadcaster on local TV. He moved to talk radio in the mid-1990s and took his radio show nationwide in 2004. He joined MSNBC in 2009 and became a prime-time fixture in 2011.
