Boike says it's the perfect gift.

Months of planning and preparations between the family of the late Pat Noah and library officials culminated this week with the official donation of a bench on the Crookston Library grounds.

"They took great care in choosing the right materials for the bench, the plaque, the beautiful's just a wonderful way to honor their mom," Chris Boike, library director, told the Times. "You can sit on the bench, enjoy the aesthetics of the library and enjoy a good book all at the same time. On top of it all, the quote (from Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, pictured below) promotes early literacy development in children. It's just perfect, and we as a library are very appreciative."
